A dab here, a touch there.
Well, the beginnings of a new layout for our journal are here. I've been extremely busy recently with the technical aspect of things around here. Aside from the incident where I got one of my SoftPaws caught under the spacebar, it's gone rather smoothly. My erstwhile brother, on the other hand, has been extremely busy practicing his imitation of a speedbump. It's proven extremely effective, especially on Mom in the wee hours of the night.

I've also had extremely limited access to this machine. Mom has been spending a lot of time pounding on it and yelling something about "PHP". Perhaps she means PCP... that would certainly explain a lot.

A heartfelt thank you (and head-lickings from Caramon) to the individuals who have been spreading word about the comic. The faster we gather adoring readers, the sooner we can achieve world domination, my feline bretheren! And remember... if you are caught by a human while plotting, look innocent and lick one paw daintily. That always works.

Thank you for the new cat comic. It was recommended to me by a SomethingPositive.net reader.

"I'm stylin' YO" caused great hysterics from my mother (human) because that is something she would do and say.

Do you plan on a "feed the artist" PayPal link for hosting funds, etc.? I would be happy to contribute to a fund that contributes to my entertainment.

How about a notice with something like 'send gooshy food and toys and the human does not get hurt'?

Done and done. Although hopefully the artist will share any proceeds with the writer and my brother and I, lest he find hairballs in his shoes.

...unless you're a 25 lb. Manx, like me. I don't do dainty.

What I find works is reaching around to wash my shoulder. If I should lose my balance and rock backwards onto my back, so much the better.

my mommy leaves her computer on at night and i found your journal and comic. It is good. i also like to read about scratch fury destroyer of worlds on pvp. it is time the world understands that we are in control. of course, we still have to figure out how to get the can opener to work, but that is in the works.

I would suggest prodding your human into buying an electric can opener. Those can be easily leaned or stepped on and made to run by even a small cat.

greetings fellow participants in the enslavement of humankind. i am grace, lady of my house and as close to god as my humans shall ever know. you have an excellent journal and i look forward to communicating with you regarding the sacred mission of felines, world domination. i read of your struggles with feeding. you indeed have a most insubordinate slave. she must be trained better, i suggest taking shifts of never allowing her to sleep until she feeds you as you wish. afterwards i have found benevolence helps, leave her a gift such as a mouse or even a bird should the feeding be excellent. i am off to command my slave to play with me and then change my mind, a few thousand times.

Human: This comic is funny as hell.

Sir Kemosabe: The humans must be eliminated if I ever learn how to open doors by myself!

my mommy also leaves her computer on all the time. when she wasn't looking, i left a window showing the *shudder* trip to the vet sequence. i know she finds this kind of thing amusing. it worked. in unexpected ways as well. she passed on the link to her friends and when she ceased laughing hysterically, she opened a can of the good stuff and set it before me saying "here's some gooshy food, luv."

i wonder if she's on to me . . .

I just wanted to say that I'm such a fan of the web comic that when I adopted a Russian Blue mix from the SPCA last Friday, I renamed him Ebenezer Snooch (but I just call him Eben). They had named him Amos but he didn't like it. He seems to love the new name.

"Black Cats" and "bottle rockets" have been the two types of fireworks that people I've run into usually have heard of (even outside the US) so I was hoping it wouldn't be too vague of a reference. It's looking like I goofed. Sorry... :/

I thought that's what they might have been (after a google search) but it didn't seem likely. I love your stuff BTW. I hope we get to see more Moon and Nightmare. I couldn't get enough of that story line.
